Pelion: The green fortress that lifts its “walls”
above Volos. The ancient god’s vacation resort, the land of Centaurs,
Titans, and Giants. The ideal destination for nature lovers, all the
year around. Pelion is the mountain that combines the fruit trees and green forest with the crystal blue of Pagasitic Gulf and Aegean Sea. Tsagarada is the crown of the eastern Pelion, where its name means beautiful view. It is situated on the north east side of the mountain, at 500 m. altitude and is the head administration of the Mouresi municipality, which includes the villages of Xourihti, 
Mouresi, Kissos, Agios Dimitrios and Anelio.Tsagarada: The magnificent nature museum, and a unique place in Greece, is almost invisible during the spring and summer, hidden amongst the deep green, painted in the autumn’s colors in the fall, and completly exposured in the winter, allowing visitors to find it's beauty. The beaches of Tsagarada, Mylopotamos and Fakistra are the most famous beaches in the eastern Pelion with crystal jade waters, pearly pebbles and wild beauty. Near to Tsagarada are the beautiful beaches of Lambinou, Limnionas, Papa Nero, Ai Yiannis, Plaka, Agii Saranda, Horefto as well as the natural port of Damouhari.
